Nonlinear devices

[under construction]

We are interested in realizing devices where optical nonlinearity and noise are a resource rather than a nuisance. For example, in Ref. [1] we showed how to realize a nonlinear optical isolator with zero reflection. In Ref. [2] we showed how the detection speed and sensitivity of a nonlinear optical sensorĀ  can be enhanced with noise.

Perspective

In the near-future, we aim to experimentally realize devices as discussed in Refs. [1,2]
